Two good examples are the delayed presence of Brazil in the so-called "Total Peace" process in Colombia, promoted by the government of Gustavo Petro, and the regeneration of dialogue and cooperation with Argentina on central and sensitive issues. Along the same lines, it would be advisable for Brazil to reverse the militarization that currently dominates the country's border policies –particularly in the Amazon areas–, which harms cross-border social interactions and securitizes the treatment of migration issues.
